KABUL: Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi has said Tehran supports an inclusive political process to resolve the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthis.
Speaking at a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baghdad, Araghchi said the experience of 12 years of conflict shows that the Yemen crisis has no military solution.
During a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Araghchi also attributed insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz to U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran, while saying Tehran remains committed to diplomacy to reduce tensions.
The two officials also discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
