ISLAMABAD: The Consulate General of Afghanistan in Islamabad, Pakistan, today morning in its Facebook account announced the release of 54 Afghan citizens from Pakistani prisons.
At least 54 Afghan citizens including children have been released from Karachi’s prisons, as a result of the consular efforts of the Afghan government in Pakistan.
According to the Afghan Consulate General in Karachi, Afghan prisoners have previously been released from prisons in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
The total number of freed Afghan prisoners from Sindh province’s prisons reaches 4,111, people including women and children.
