KABUL: Following the announcement of the final results of the Iranian presidential election and the victory of Masoud Pezeshkian, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement on Saturday, congratulated the formation of the new government in this country.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan congratulates to the people and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the election of the new government,” said the statement.
The statement pressed the hope that with the new government of Iran, the relations between Kabul and Iran as two Muslim countries will further be strengthened and expanded.
The election center of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Saturday, announced the final results of the presidential election in that country and Masoud Pezeshkian defeated his rival and won the election and was elected as the new president of Iran.
