KABUL: The officials of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said that job opportunities will be provided for 1.5 million people in the country.
The officials of the ministry in a press conference, held today at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) sharing the ministry’s one-year achievements said that holding a National Labor Conference and the signing of 15 Memorandums of Understanding are planned to facilitate job opportunities for 1.5 million individuals.
“Work permits have been issued to more than 119,000 citizens, both local and foreign, including 118,755 Afghan citizens and 3,381 foreign nationals in the past one year,” said the officials.
Also, in the past year, operating licenses were granted to 15 institutions providing vocational training, and the licenses of four other institutions were renewed.
