KABUL: The nutrition treatment ward worth 10 million Afghanis opened in the Maqar District Hospital in Ghazni province, the Ministry of Public Health said in a statement on Saturday.
The center includes five rooms and ten beds dedicated to the treatment of malnourished patients, said the statement.
According to the statement, the center has been constructed with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). With the completion of the malnutrition treatment center, not only will children in Maqar District receive necessary care, but it will also extend support to neighboring districts facing similar challenges.
