KABUL: The funeral ceremony of the Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriations, Hajji Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, was held in his hometown (Paktia) with the participation of thousands of people and a number of cabinet ministers.
The funeral ceremony was also attended by high-ranking IEA officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Interior Affairs Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, and other cabinet members.
The funeral of martyr Haqqani was held in the Sarani area of Paktia’s Garda Serai district, and it is expected that he will be buried there.
