KABUL: The U.S. Treasury Department has imposed new sanctions on Iranian and Russian agencies in connection with the elections.
According to the ministry, the Reuters news agency wrote that these restrictions were imposed due to attempts to interfere in the 2024 U.S. elections.
The ministry also claimed that both countries were inciting hatred in America.
Even after winning the first election, the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump accused Russia of meddling in the country’s elections.
