KABUL: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, has met with Mohammad Reza Bahrami, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Iranian Ambassador in Kabul.
In the meeting, discussions were held on the new chapter in the relations between the two countries, recent developments, issues related to water, and the situation of Afghan refugees residing in Iran.
The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that relations between Afghanistan and Iran are progressing and stressed that both countries should make proper use of the existing opportunities.
It is noteworthy that political and diplomatic relations between Tehran and Kabul have expanded.
