KABUL: High-ranking Kazakh government officials have announced that they plans to establish a chamber of commerce and launch a center for displaying and selling Kazakh cars in Kabul, in addition to Herat.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of Emirati Companies on Wednesday, Serik Zhumangarin, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and his accompanying delegation made the remarks, in a meeting with Mawlavi Ahmad Jan Bilal, the head of the General Directorate of Emirati Companies.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed various topics, including trade relations, particularly investment, transit, logistics, oil and gas, and telecommunications services, said the statement.
The Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of banking transactions in trade relations and assured his country’s cooperation in this regard.
Meanwhile, the head of Emirati Companies expressed readiness to expand existing cooperation with Kazakhstan and initiate new projects.
At the end of the discussions, both parties agreed to form technical teams to follow up on the discussed topics.
