KABUL: A delegation led by Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, is set to travel to Qatar.
Ahmad Zia Takal, head of information and public relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said today that the delegation is expected to meet and discuss with several Qatari officials during this trip.
He emphasized that meetings with diplomats from various countries are also included in Minister Muttaqi’s agenda in Doha.
Further details regarding the objectives of the visit have not been provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Qatar, a Gulf state, has played a significant role in relation to Afghanistan over the past three years.
