KABUL: Construction work on dozens of development projects worth 38 million Afghanis has been kicked off in Uruzgan province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement today.
The projects are being implemented to facilitate the lives of residents of the Gizab district of the province and provide job opportunities for dozens of people, said the statement.
According to the statement, the projects included the construction of rural roads, culverts, retaining walls, and the cleaning of canals.
Efforts are underway by the Islamic Emirate to implement welfare projects in the country.
