KABUL: The Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mawlavi Ahmadullah Zahid, met with a representative from China’s Sanjing Electric Co., Ltd.
The ministry stated that during the meeting, the representative expressed interest in investing in electricity production from coal and requested collaboration in this area.
Mawlavi Ahmadullah Zahid warmly welcomed the company’s enthusiasm and described Afghanistan as a reliable place for investment.
He urged the Sanjing Electric representative to share their work plan with the ministry’s investment department so that specialists can provide feedback to strengthen the proposal.
