Shia scholars held a gathering to express support from IEA in Ghazni

KABUL: The Shia scholars, influential elders, and several residents of Ghazni province have held a meeting to express their support for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).

According to Radio Omid correspondent, the gathering took place today, Sunday, in the capital of Ghazni province.

Organized by the “High Commission of Shia Muslims” in Afghanistan, the meeting aimed to support the current Islamic system and facilitate the return of Afghan professionals and figures residing abroad.

Speakers at the gathering emphasized the importance of “unity, understanding, and national participation ” and declared their support for the existing government in Afghanistan.

Shia scholars also called on Afghan professionals living abroad to return to the country and contribute to its development.

Similar gatherings in support of the IEA have previously been held in Kabul and other provinces by various ethnic groups residing in the country.
