Afghan delegation participates in the Global Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Protection (GSLEP) in Kyrgyzstan

KABUL: Leading a delegation Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, the head of Afghanistan’s National Environmental Protection Agency, participated in the Global Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Protection (GSLEP) conference held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
According to a statement from the National Environmental Protection Agency, the conference was organized to address the protection of the snow leopard, the preservation of natural habitats, and the strengthening of ecosystems.
Mawlavi Khalis expressed Afghanistan’s commitment to snow leopard conservation and also met with several Kyrgyz officials on the sidelines of the conference.
It is noteworthy that this international conference was attended by senior representatives from snow leopard range countries and various international environmental organizations.
