KABUL: The acting Minister of Public Health Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, during his visit to Iran, met separately with officials from two leading hospitals of the Pediatric Disease Treatment Center and Hakim Hospital in Tehran.
The ministry in a statement stated that discussions focused on agreements regarding training Afghan healthcare workers in specialized fields such as bone marrow transplants, nephrology, and cardiology, as well as collaboration with state hospitals.
Both sides expressed commitment to bilateral cooperation, sharing experiences, and training Afghan healthcare professionals.
During his stay, in Iran Minister Jalali met with various health officials, including high-ranking authorities.
