KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has reacted to Elon Musk’s establishment of a new political party in the country, named the “American Party,” calling it “ridiculous.”
According to American media today, speaking to reporters while traveling from his home in New Jersey to the White House, Trump emphasized that the U.S. political system is built for two parties, and that third parties are doomed to fail.
Trump stated, “Democrats have lost their way, but this has always been a two-party system. I think launching a third party would only lead to confusion. This system is essentially designed for two parties. Third parties that have formed in the past have never been successful.”
Recently, Elon Musk founded a new political party in response to the passage of Donald Trump’s tax reduction law by American lawmakers.
Musk wrote on his X account , “When it comes to bankrupting the country with corruption and waste, we are actually living in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today, the American Party is being created to restore your freedom.”
It appears that the level of disagreement between the president and the world’s richest man has entered a new phase.
