KABUL: The National Football Federation of Afghanistan has initiated grade B coaching course from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for 26 football coaches in Kabul.
The General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports said in a statement today that training organized by the federation in coordination with the General Directorate, will last for 10 days and includes coaches from various provinces.
The statement noted that participating coaches will learn fundamental concepts and key principles of football, including technical and tactical skills, physical and mental preparation, through both theoretical and practical sessions.
The course will be conducted by Mohammad Yousuf Kargar, an official instructor from the AFC.
The training enhance the skills of young football coaches and familiarize them with precise scientific concepts in the sport.
Sports experts suggest that familiarizing coaches with international sports regulations can significantly impact team development and the standard growth of football in the country.
