KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs has announced that 31 individuals have been arrested by police in seven provinces on various charges in the past 24 hours.
In a statement released today, the ministry said that the individuals were arrested for offenses such as theft, smuggling, illegal logging, and running away from home, in Kunduz, Nimroz, Nangarhar, Herat, Paktia, Samangan, and Uruzgan provinces.
Additionally, the Counter-Terrorism Police have seized three firearms in Kunduz, two in Ghazni, and one in Samangan.
The statement emphasized that police efforts are ongoing to ensure security, public order, and the enforcement of law within the community.
