KABUL: A delegation of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas met yesterday with Iranian Foreign Minister Sayed Abbas Araghchi in Qatar.
During the meeting, the delegation urged the international community to unite in providing urgent humanitarian assistance for the salvation of Palestinians, to prevent genocide, and to bring an end to the ongoing conflict.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s statement noted that Khalil al-Hayya, the head of Hamas’s office, and several members of the movement’s leadership council and political bureau were also present at the meeting.
Araghchi emphasized that Islamic countries must adopt a unified stance to support the people of Gaza and address their challenges, calling for the leaders of Israel to be held accountable for their actions.
