Conservative politician and Trump supporter killed in shooting; political earthquake begins in the U.S.

KABUL: Charlie Kirk, a conservative politician and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed by unknown assailants at Utah Valley University in Utah on Wednesday evening, CNN reported.

The incident has sparked a wave of reactions from political leaders across both the Republican and Democratic parties in the U.S. and abroad, including George Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Donald Trump, and Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia.

Clinton expressed sadness and anger over Kirk’s death, while Bush noted that members of other parties are not enemies, but fellow citizens.

Obama emphasized that such hateful violence has no place in American democracy, and Biden called for an end to such violence in a country like the U.S.

On the other hand, Donald Trump referred to Charlie Kirk’s killing as “a dark day” for the nation.

Meanwhile, Dmitry Medvedev stated that recent political crimes and murders in the U.S. are the work of “liberal left thugs” who support Ukraine.

American media outlets have reported that an individual arrested by the FBI in connection with the killing of the conservative politician has been released, as extensive investigations into the incident are underway.
