U.S. strike hit residential home in Southern Iran; three family members lost lives, two children injured

KABUL: Iran’s Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences says a reported U.S. strike on a residential house in the Chah Tangu area of Qeshm city three members of the same family lost their lives and two children were injured.

According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, citing the university, the victims included the father, mother, and their two-year-old child. Two other children, aged seven and nine, were injured in the attack and transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.

Reports circulating in Iranian media also claimed that the missile was launched from Kuwaiti territory. However, this claim has not been independently or officially verified.
