KABUL: The Afghanistan cricket team achieved a thrilling victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 4 runs in the ongoing tri-series, on Friday night, in Sharjah, Dubai.
Afghanistan set a target of 171 runs, scoring this total in 20 overs. In response, the UAE managed to score 156 runs in their 20 overs, resulting in their defeat against Afghanistan.
This is the second consecutive loss of the UAE to Afghanistan in the tri-series.
With this victory, the Afghan team has secured a place in the final against the Pakistan cricket team.
The final match of the tournament is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Sunday, in Sharjah, Dubai.
