KABUL: Tens of thousands of Israelis protested yesterday in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, calling on U.S. President Donald Trump to seriously pursue a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.
According to Reuters, there are still 48 Israelis held captive in Gaza, with officials stating that approximately 20 of them are alive.
The families of these hostages are expressing concern and criticizing the continuous Israeli bombardments, which they believe pose a serious threat to their loved ones’ lives.
On the other hand, Trump has stated that he is actively working to negotiate with the Hamas militant group, but so far, there has been no possibility of reaching any agreement.
