KABUL: Russia has conducted a drone strike on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, resulting in eight injuries and a fire outbreak in the city.
According to Reuters, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that a four-story building was set on fire and three residential houses were damaged in the attack.
Following the strike, alarms were sounded in Kyiv, and the electricity system was disrupted.
In response, Poland announced that it had deployed fighter jets to ensure the security of its airspace.
