PUL-E-KHUMRI: The provincial officials of Baghlan said that at least 12 people have been injured in two separate traffic accidents in the outskirts of the province.
The Baghlan Police Headquarters said in a statement on Friday evening that these incidents occurred when a vehicle veered off the road and overturned in the Khwaja Bahauddin district, as well as a collision between two other vehicles in the same district.
According to the statement, the first accident occurred in the “Chahar Maghzak” area on the Salang highway, injuring nine individuals, including women and children.
The police have attributed the cause of these traffic accidents to driver negligence.
Traffic accidents occasionally claim lives across the country, but efforts are underway by security institutions to reduce and prevent such incidents.
