KABUL: Following clashes in Kandahar province, fighting has now begun in the Trow district of Paktika province, near the Durand Line.
According to a Radio Omid correspondent, the conflict began today in areas known as “Qamaruddin” and “Khan Mohammad,” with fresh reinforcements arriving at the scene.
Meanwhile, fighting has also commenced in the “Urmami” district at the border gate of “Lari,” which is still ongoing.
Local officials report that Afghan forces are in a state of complete readiness and defense, standing firm to protect the country’s territory and sovereignty.
