Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hnafi: More hmanitarian aid needed for management of three million returning refugees

KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hnafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, stated that the Afghan nation has faced severe losses due to protracted conflicts and natural disasters, particularly emphasizing the need for rebuilding in the education sector.
He made the remarks, during a ceremony held to commemorate the Afghan Red Crescent Society’s special week here in Kabul.
Mawlavi Hanafi added that the return of three million Afghan refugees and the management of this process require humanitarian assistance. He called on international organizations, traders, and wealthy individuals to support needy families.
Simultaneously, Charlie Subghan, Head of Operational Affairs for the International Red Crescent in Afghanistan, noted that the Afghan Red Crescent Society has consistently aided affected Afghans based on its seven fundamental principles and that this cooperation will continue.
