KABUL: Leading a delegation Kazem Gharib Abadi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, has arrived in Kabul today, the Iranian Embassy in Kabul said in a statement today.
According to the statement, Gharib Abadi, who serves as Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs has come to Kabul to discuss matters related to borders, water, and judicial issues with Afghan officials.
The statement noted that this visit is part of the neighborhood policy between Afghanistan and Iran.
So far, officials from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have not commented on the Iranian delegation’s visit to Kabul.
Iran is one of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries, with extensive political, economic, and trade relations established between the two nations.
