Afghan Athletes shine at 3rd Youth Asian Championships 2025; 4 medals and three consecutive wins

The impressive performance of Afghan athletes at the Third Youth Asian Championships 2025 has brought optimism to the National Sports Administration regarding the outcomes of the competition.
The General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports said on Sunday night, that achievements include 4 silver and bronze medals by Afghan wrestlers and martial artists, along with three consecutive victories by the national futsal team.
Additionally, the national volleyball team achieved a significant victory yesterday, defeating Nepal 3-0 in their fourth match at the Central Asian Championships.
Other members of the Afghan sports delegation are set to compete in various disciplines, including traditional wrestling, WTF taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, judo, and boxing.
The statement highlighted that participation in these major competitions provides Afghan athletes with the opportunity to gain experience in international events, prepare for future global competitions, and inspire other youth as well.
Currently, the Afghan sports delegation at the Youth Asian Championships 2025 consists of 58 athletes, coaches, and officials competing in eight sports disciplines.
