KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, in an interview with Afghanistan Radio Television, said today that as they enter the third day of talks between Afghan and Pakistani delegations, Kabul is awaiting the results of these discussions.
The spokesperson noted, “We are waiting for the results of the ongoing negotiations in Istanbul, and the IEA believes in solving problems through dialogue.”
He emphasized that the IEA has always sought to pursue dialogue as a means to address and resolve issues, warning that any party that violates Afghan territory will face reciprocal actions.
According to him, ensuring security and preserving the territorial integrity of Afghanistan are priorities for the IEA, and no aggression can hinder Kabul’s peace efforts.
This comes as the IEA officials await the results of the Istanbul negotiations, following the submission of Kabul’s draft demands to Pakistan yesterday.
