KABUL: A roadside bomb explosion in northwestern Pakistan, specifically in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, has resulted in the deaths of at least three police officers.
According to the Associated Press on Wednesday, the blast targeted a vehicle carrying police officers in the “Dera Ismail Khan” area.
Sajjad Khan, a local police official, confirmed the occurrence of this attack and mentioned that investigations are underway.
So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
Mohsin Naqvi, the Interior Minister of Pakistan, attributed this attack to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
This is the third bombing incident in recent days aimed at Pakistani security forces.
