Russian Security Council Deputy: NATO will be destroyed if it doesn’t surrender

KABUL: Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, recently stated that if the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) does not surrender, it will be destroyed.

He remarked X on Wednesday night, that NATO is pleased about the collapse of the Russia-NATO Council, and this excitement is understandable.

Medvedev referred to NATO as Russia’s enemy and quoted the famous Russian novelist Maxim, who said, “If the enemy does not surrender, it will be destroyed.”

The Russia-NATO Council was a cooperative and coordination organization between Russia and NATO, established in 2002 but collapsed following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
