KABUL: Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Sharafat Zaman Amerkhail said today that Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Minister of Public Health, has traveled to New Delhi heading a delegation at the official invitation of the Indian government.
According to him, the purpose of the Minister’s visit is to strengthen cooperation in the health sector, exchange experiences, and engage in joint efforts.
The spokesperson added that this visit would extend over several days, whereby Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali is expected to hold separate meetings with officials, particularly those in the health sector of India.
He is also expected to participate in some pre-arranged programs.
The agenda of the Minister’s visit includes capacity building for health personnel in Afghanistan, importing quality medicines, medical equipment, and other relevant areas.
This is the third cabinet minister of the Afghan government to visit India at the official invitation in recent weeks.
