KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, participated today in the graduation ceremony at the “Jamee Fath al-Uloom Kabul” school, where he described the institution as a foundation for religious knowledge, jihad, prophetic ethics, spiritual and intellectual training, and Islamic movements.
In his remarks, he urged scholars to soften their rhetoric in sermons and to not only emphasize religious obligations but also to instill a spirit of safeguarding the Islamic system and national interests among the people.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar extended his congratulations to the graduates and their families, stressing that educational institutions should remain committed to their core mission in all circumstances.
According to a statement from his office, Mullah Baradar highlighted the significant role that educational institutions play in intellectual reform, eliminating un-Islamic cultures, and preserving Islamic traditions.
