KABUL: With the initiative of the provincial Directorate of Information and Culture of Badakhshan, an exhibition showcasing local products and goods has been opened today under the name “Badakhshan Market Showcase.”
Organized in the presence of local officials from Badakhshan and several community leaders, the exhibition features local products, including handicrafts and authentic Badakhshani goods, displayed across 35 booths.
Engineer Zabiullah Amiri, the head of the Directorate of Information and Culture of Badakhshan, stated that the goal of this exhibition is to introduce the province’s products and handicrafts.
Displayed items include carpets, kilims, traditional tablecloths, medicinal herbs, pure honey, literary works from Badakhshan authors, and various other locally produced items.
Badakhshan, located in the northeast of Afghanistan, is one of the ancient provinces with a rich history and culture, boasting nearly 30 administrative units that reflect its deep-seated civilization and local culture.
