KABUL: The High Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues said in a statement today that 3,029 Afghan migrants were forcibly expelled from Pakistan in a single day.
According to the statement, the migrants entered Afghanistan yesterday (Sunday) through the Torkham border in Nangarhar province and the Spin Boldak border in Kandahar province.
The report stated that 2,957 migrants crossed through the Torkham border, while 72 others entered through the Spin Boldak border.
The recently returned migrants have been registered through the reception and registration committee.
Plans are in place for the individuals to be sent to their respective areas after completing the necessary procedures.
The forced expulsion of Afghan migrants from Pakistan continues daily and without interruption.
