KABUL: The provincial counter-narcotics personnel of Kapisa have arrested two individuals along with 880 grams of methamphetamine “crystal”.
The Kapisa police media office said in a statement today, the individuals, identified as Mir Agha and Mohammad Alam, are residents of the of Namazjai and Qurban Beg Khil in the First District of Kohistan.
The statement emphasized that all drug traffickers and dealers should know that there will be no tolerance regarding this crime, and legal action will be taken against those involved.
The Kapisa police added that the arrested individuals, along with their related cases, will be handed over to judicial authorities following necessary investigations.
It is noteworthy that the fight against the cultivation, production, trafficking, and sale of drugs, as well as the users of narcotics, is ongoing vigorously across the country.
