KABUL: U.S. law enforcement officials report that a 21-year-old man attempting to enter President Donald Trump’s personal residence illegally was shot dead by security forces.
Reuters has identified the individual as Austin Tucker Martin, a resident of North Carolina. He attempted to gain access to Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s estate located in Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday afternoon.
Details regarding the motive behind the assault have not yet been disclosed, and security agencies are investigating the incident.
It is noteworthy that earlier in 2024, there were also reports of similar attempts to breach security at Trump’s residence.
