MoPH signed cooperation agreement with HealthNet TPO to strengthen and expand healthcare in Paktia

KABUL: The Ministry of Public Health ( MoPH) signed a cooperation agreement worth over $10.3 million with HealthNet TPO organization to strengthen and expand health services for residents of Paktia province.
According to a statement from the ministry’s press office today, the contract will provide essential and specialized services to the residents of Paktia through the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) over the next one and a half years.
The implementation of the contract is expected to create job opportunities for 1,538 individuals in Paktia province.
The statement added that representatives from HealthNet TPO have assured that the project will be executed within the specified timeframe, adhering to all established standards while paying special attention to the health needs of the population.
This comes as the Ministry of Public Health has previously expressed its commitment to improving, strengthening, and expanding health services in the most remote areas of Afghanistan in collaboration with national and international institutions.
