KABUL: Local sources in Paktia say “retaliatory” attacks by Afghan forces on Pakistani military posts in Dand Patan district along the Durand Line resumed on Friday night. According to the sources, the operations were relaunched after Pakistani forces allegedly carried out mortar attacks on civilian areas.
Officials in Khost also confirmed that retaliatory strikes by Afghan forces have resumed against Pakistani military posts along the Durand Line in the districts of Zazi Maidan and Alisher–Terezyo. Details about the scale and outcome of the latest operations have not yet been disclosed.
