KABUL: In the ongoing airstrikes by the Pakistani military regime targeting Afghan civilians, at least five residential homes were recently struck in the Nangarhar and Paktia provinces.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, said in a statement on Sunday that the attack in the “29th Wiyala” area of Ghani Khel district, Nangarhar, martyred two people, including a woman, and wounded two others.
Additionally, a Pakistani military mortar strike hit a residential home, around midnight (Saturday night) in Dand Patan district, Paktia, martyring at least one local resident and injuring another.
These civilian casualties come while Afghan forces, in a retaliatory operation last night, seized one tower and four checkpoints of the Pakistani military, killing and wounding dozens of its soldiers.
