Afghan Forces destroy Pakistani armored tank in Paktika

KABUL: Afghan defense forces have destroyed an armored tank belonging to the Pakistani military as part of ongoing operations “Rad al-Zulm,” according to the Ministry of National Defense of Afghanistan.
In a video statement released Monday, the ministry said the Pakistani armored vehicle was targeted at 11:45 a.m. in the Shekin district of Paktika, across from the Angoor Ada area along the Durand Line.
The ministry claimed the tank had been firing toward Afghan territory before it was destroyed by Afghan forces.
The incident comes amid continued cross-border clashes between Afghan forces and the Pakistani military under the “Rad al-Zulm” operation.
