KABUL: Afghan forces have destroyed a Pakistani military post along the disputed border in Kunar province, officials said.
Deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, Sediqullah Nusrat, said the post was targeted in Dangam district near the Durand Line.
According to him, the position had been firing toward Afghan territory, causing harm to civilians.
The development comes amid rising tensions and recent reports of cross-border incidents affecting civilian areas in Kunar.
