KABUL: Afghanistan’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) worth $875,947 with international partner organizations.
The agreements were signed with War Child Canada and Sustainable and Creative Community Development Organization, aiming to expand support programs for returning migrants and internally displaced people.
Under the MoUs, the funds will be used for child protection, education, and livelihood opportunities of 12,038 individuals in Kabul, Baghlan, Kunduz, and Balkh provinces.
Officials say the MoUs reflect ongoing efforts by Afghan authorities and international partners to improve and sustain services for returnees and displaced communities.
