Afghanistan committed to sustained engagement with international community, official says

KABUL: Zakir Jalali, Second Political Deputy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, says Afghanistan remains committed to sustained engagement with the international community.
Speaking at the conclusion of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, Jalali emphasized that alongside continued engagement, Afghanistan is also dedicated to “constructive, pragmatic, and result-oriented dialogue.”
He described the forum as a valuable platform for meaningful interaction and exchange of views with global leaders, policymakers, and experts.
Jalali congratulated Turkey on successfully hosting the fifth edition of the forum and expressed appreciation for inviting the Afghan delegation.
The Afghan delegation, led by Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce, included senior officials such as Abdulhai Qanit, head of the Strategic Studies Center at the Foreign Ministry.
In addition to participating in the main sessions, the delegation held bilateral meetings and took part in various side events during the forum
