KANDAHAR: The Kandahar counter-narcotics forces have detained two people along with 40 kilograms of hashish in the province.
According to a statement from the Kandahar police command press office, the narcotics were discovered and seized while being transported from Helmand province into Kandahar.
The detainees’ cases will be transferred to the judicial organs for further investigations.
Efforts are underway by the country’s security forces to combat drug trafficking across Afghanistan.
