KABUL: Nooruddin Azizi, Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, attended the opening of the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM Central Asia in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
The ministry’s press office said in a statement on Monday that Minister Azizi toured various sections of the exhibition to strengthen bilateral economic ties, review industrial and technological advancements, support Afghan domestic products, and assess market conditions.
The three-day exhibition brings together regional and international participants, providing a platform for cooperation in industry, technology, and investment.
More than 60 Afghan companies are showcasing products in sectors such as cotton, coal, spices, and agricultural goods.
Officials say the participation highlights efforts by Afghanistan to expand trade links and promote its products in regional markets.
