SHEBERGHAN: Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, during his visit to Jawzjan province has inaugurated four healthcare development projects worth 118 million Afghanis.
According to a statement from the governor’s press office, two of the projects were newly launched, including the construction of a 30-bed hospital in Aqcha District valued at 54 million Afghanis, and a Comprehensive Health Center (CHC) in Mingajik District worth 50 million Afghanis.
The other two completed projects include a new clinic building in Khwaja Du Koh District and a maternity ward at the provincial hospital, costing a total of 14 million Afghanis.
Officials say the inauguration of the projects will significantly improve access to quality healthcare services for residents across Jawzjan, particularly in Aqcha, Mingajik, and Khwaja Du Koh districts.
Jalali expressed appreciation for local support and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering improved healthcare services across the country.
