DOHA: Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, Afghanistan’s ambassador based in Doha, met with Dr. Omar Jah, the ambassador and special representative of The Gambia, to discuss investment opportunities and the security situation in Afghanistan.
According to the Afghan Embassy in Qatar this morning, the meeting focused on nationwide security in Afghanistan, existing investment opportunities, and several other bilateral issues.
The embassy noted that Dr. Omar Jah is also responsible for Afghan affairs at the Gambian Embassy in Doha.
The Afghan Embassy in Qatar has previously engaged in efforts to strengthen coordination between Afghanistan and foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations operating in the country.
