KABUL: The Committee for Permanent Settlement and Land Distribution for Migrants says more than 9,000 returnee families received residential land plots across 11 provinces during the past week.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat wrote on X that a total of 9,352 returnee families were allocated residential plots in the provinces of Nangarhar, Laghman, Zabul, Farah, Bamyan, Sar-e-Pul, Samangan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Kunduz, and Ghazni.
According to Fitrat, 3,270 families received plots in Nangarhar, 1,260 in Laghman, 960 in Zabul, 517 in Farah, 66 in Bamyan, 495 in Sar-e-Pul, 550 in Samangan, 934 in Balkh, 600 in Jawzjan, 300 in Kunduz, and 400 families in Ghazni.
He added that a total of 18,904 returnee families across Afghanistan have so far received residential land plots, and the distribution process is continuing.
